Trotta's History...
It Began in 1955...
Hi, I'm Eddy Trotta, the owner of Trotta Foods and son of the amazing founders, Orlando "Al" and Anna Trotta.
In 1955, my dad started peddling my mom's delicious homemade pasta from their kitchen to the neighborhood Italian restaurants in the Bronx.
Over time, we moved from the family kitchen to a store front in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx, and then to New Rochelle. In 1976, the family moved the business to its present location in Thornwood, Westchester County.
Then we Expanded our Offerings
We have expanded the "factory", as we lovingly refer to it, from its small storefront to a fully equipped facility capable of producing other homemade products such as sauces, soups, sausage, fresh mozzarella, as well as many varieties of ravioli and other pasta. At Trotta's store, we sell many items imported from Italy, including the world famous Bindi desserts. We also have Take Out, offer wholesale delivery to many restaurants with our fleet of freezer trucks and are capable of catering parties of any size.
One thing has not changed...
At Trotta's, we remember where we came from and our commitment to quality and caring for our customers remains our number one priority.
